SCRR at Wickenburg

March 28 to April 1

The park has a great recreation room.  Here we are gathered for our evening meal.

One of the more interesting locations to visit  in town is the Desert Caballeros Western Museum.  They have a couple of art galleries upstairs
featuring western art by female artists.  One was closed for a special event, but the other has some beautiful (and some not) small sized
(letter size or so) paintings.  Downstairs where photos were allowed, they have many displays and re-creations of what Wickenburg was
like in its early days.  Here we see several shops with a buggy parked in the center.

This model shows Wickenburg in its very early days.

The general store was very interesting by itself, but shortly after you walk in, the store keeper stands up behind the counter and talks about
the history and goings on about the town.

The saloon has a couple of slot machines on the bar and a large glass container with the word Whiskey embossed in the middle.

They had a number of rooms of a typical house set up.  Here is the kitchen.

On Saturday night we went out to dinner at the El Ranchero restaurant.  Here clockwise from the left is: Len, Ernie, Norm, Mary, John,
Michael, Marvin, Carol, Linda, Linda, Shirley, Betty, and Kathie.
