SCRR at Potato Patch Campground, Jerome, AZ

 September 12 - 15, 2018

Meet our newest members:  On the left are Ernie and Betty, and on the right is CC.  Welcome to the Sun Country Road Runners!

Potato Patch Campground is very pretty.  The trees have grown to a size that provide a lot of useful shade.
A short distance away is the dry camping loop which is among the Ponderosa Pines and is even shadier!

As we look at our gathering, we see (clockwise from the left) Ernie, Betty Shirley, Anais, Ed Norm,
Mary, Shirley, Al, and CC.

Our breakfast potluck was really good!  Here Shirley is cooking her delicious blueberry pancakes, and
Betty is arranging her wonderful fruit plates.

We enjoyed our happy hours and our meals around these tables.

On Thursday, we had 3 visitors:  Hank, Marie and Jo Ann.  They stayed for 2 or 3 hours and we all
had a great time talking.

There were flys, bees, and wasps around.  Here Al tries to kill a bug on Shirley's neck using an
electronic fly swatter.

Some of us made a side trip to Jerome.  Here we can see that Fridays are still a popular time
for motorcyclists to visit!
