SCRR at Fool Hollow Lake S.P., Show Low, AZ

September 19 - 22, 2017

This was a pretty park.  Some of the parking was rather strange.  There was a long space with one rig parked on one side at the back, and another on the other side
toward the front.
The left shows Al and Shirley's rig in one space and Clarence and Jeanne's and Marvin and De's in the other.  The right shows Michael and Linda's rig in the back and
Dick and Shirley in the front.  Our group activities were in the driveway area next to Dick's rig.

Win and Phyllis had a single space and Norm and Mary shared one with Ed and Anais.  Their space was so short that the rigs had to overlap making things rather tight.

Hank and Marie were assigned a space well away from the rest of us, and I failed to get a picture of their rig. Sorry!

At happy hour, we all sat around and chatted (and ate).

Tuesday night's dinner was changed from eating outdoors to going out for Pizza, due to the wind.
This picture was taken by a bar patron.  He first took it with his own cell phone.  Ed then
asked him to take one with his phone so we could have a copy.

Breakfast each day was delicious with a selection of many things to chose from.

Phyllis took this beautiful shot of the lake showing the colorful rental boats in the foreground.

Here a determined boater heads out amongst the whitecaps.

As we were watching the lake, the wind played havoc with Shirley's hair.

I ran across an interesting phenomenon:  I had to use an extension hose to reach the utilities.  It started
as a fairly neat coil with one end going to the faucet and about 3 feet on the other to reach my hose.
I noticed early on that the coils were lifting from the stack.  Later this is what I had!  I have no idea
how or why the hose twisted like this!
The anti-backflow valve on the faucet also was spitting every once in a while, but I figured that out:
The park pressure was going up and down with water use by others.  When the pressure went down,
the excess pressure in the motor home hose tried to feed back to the system.  The anti-backflow valve
did its job and vented the excess water (all over you if you were close).

Our Thursday night dinner was at a nearby Mexican Restaurant.  Here we see (L to R)
Win, Norm, Mary, Shirley, Dick, Ed, and Anais.

And here are Al, Hank, Marie, Linda (behind Michael), and Michael.

Below are photos of the attendees of this rally.  Most were taken at our last night's dinner, but
those absent were either taken later or pulled from the candid shots of the rally.
